About Elysium

Where Poetry Becomes Eternal.

In a world that’s constantly speeding up, where quick scrolls and short videos dominate our screens, something sacred has slowly started fading away — poetry.

Once revered as the soul of literature, a sanctuary for expression, and the language of the heart, poetry today often finds itself drowned in the noise of modern social media. Platforms built for virality leave little space for vulnerability. Likes matter more than lines. Depth is traded for trends. And amidst this chaos, many poets — both budding and brilliant — remain unseen, unheard, and uncelebrated.

But we believe poetry is eternal. And it deserves a place just as timeless.

Elysium was born from that belief.

Founded and built entirely by Akhil Sharma Vernas, a 17-year-old author, entrepreneur, and visionary, Elysium is not just an app — it’s a movement. Akhil, who authored the mystery and sci-fi thriller ME: The Beginning, created Elysium with a single mission:

“To make poetry sacred, valued, and great again.”

Elysium is a refuge — for poets tired of chasing trends. It’s a realm where your words are not filtered through algorithms, but felt through hearts. Whether you’re an acclaimed writer or someone scribbling lines in a notebook at midnight, your voice matters here. Your creations are preserved like artifacts, ready to outlive you and echo even when you're gone.

Here, every poem lives forever. Every emotion finds a home. Every poet is respected.

Because poetry isn't content. It’s art.
